What does a month of clinic videos really cost?

You have the expertise. You might even have a folder full of recordings. Getting those recordings into a month of useful videos is where the budget gets harder to pin down. Here is how to compare the costs and choose a workflow your clinic can keep using.

What does the fee include?

Who records and reviews?

The extras

What needs a separate budget?

Compare all three before choosing your workflow.

Start with the month you actually want to publish

Picture your next month of content. Perhaps you want to answer questions about a first consultation, introduce the team and explain how you approach treatment decisions. Write down the videos you can realistically record and review. That is a better starting point for a quote than asking for “some social content.”

Your budget has three parts: the service or software, the time your team spends on it, and any extras. A low subscription fee can still be a poor fit if nobody has time to record. A larger agency quote may make sense if it includes the filming support you need.

What a Clinicast subscription covers

Clinicast brings ideas, scripts, recording support and editing into one workflow. Your team checks the explanation, records it and reviews the finished video. The monthly plans below show the current subscription price and video-credit allowance.

The cost per credit is the subscription divided by the full allowance. It is a budgeting comparison, not an offer to buy a single video at that price. If you use fewer credits, your effective cost per used credit is higher.

Monthly subscription · prices in USD
Starter$300/mo

6 video credits per month

Fee ÷ full allowance$50.00per credit, using the full allowance
Pro$650/mo

15 video credits per month

Fee ÷ full allowance$43.33per credit, using the full allowance
Max$1,500/mo

40 video credits per month

Fee ÷ full allowance$37.50per credit, using the full allowance

Prices exclude tax. The calculation excludes team time and extra purchases.

Compare the work included, not just the quote

Ask what the provider means by a video. Is it an edit of footage you supply, a shoot at your clinic, or content made with a digital presenter? Check who writes the script, adds captions, handles revisions and prepares the final file.

An agency proposal may also include account management, advertising or a filming crew. Those are separate jobs with their own value. Put them next to the fee so you can see what you would still need to arrange with a software workflow.

Leave room for recording, review and extras

For your first video, note how long your team spends checking the script, recording and reviewing. You do not need a complicated time sheet. A rough record is enough to show which part of the process needs attention.

Clinicast uses a separate experience-credit allowance for some generative actions, including Relight and AI visual regeneration. The editing agent and Relight require a paid plan. Check the current allowances if you expect to use these often.

Subscription allowances renew monthly, including on an annual plan. Unused subscription credits reset at the period boundary. Choose around the work you can produce consistently, and check the billing terms before subscribing.

Make one useful video before committing to a routine

Try a question you already answer confidently. “What should I bring to my first consultation?” gives you a focused brief and lets a potential patient hear how your team explains things. Use your own clinic process in the script.

Clinicast can give you a draft to work from and help turn your recording into an edited video. Read the draft aloud, change anything you would not say and check the completed captions and visuals. You will have a real result to judge and a clearer idea of the work your team needs to do.

Your first-video brief
What should I bring to my first consultation?

A familiar question. Your explanation. A place to start recording.

  1. Draft your answer

    Describe your clinic's actual process.

  2. Record it

Read it aloud and make the words yours.

  3. Review the video

Check the message, captions and visuals.

Example topic. Make the content specific to your clinic.

Common questions

Can I try Clinicast before choosing a paid plan?

Yes. The signup offer includes a first video for your first clinic business. Paid tools such as the editing agent and Relight are not included in the free allowance.

Does cost per credit mean cost per published video?

No. The calculation uses the included video-credit allowance. It excludes team time and additional purchases. See the tax note beside the prices. Actual usage determines your effective cost.

Is advertising spend included?

The subscription is for the content workflow. Budget separately for paid promotion and any outside services you choose to use.
